my comment - i was watching a lil bit of the movie "the rules of attraction" this morning and it got me searching for shannyn sossamon on the internet. i remember she was a DJ in the LA scene back then and was discovered by Gwyneth Palthrow at a party she was djing at. anyways, i had a crush on that chick back then and she was a pretty hot commodity back in 2001-2002 when she starred in "a knight's tale", "40 days, 40 nights", and even doing a GAP commercial where she was scratching with Rob Swift & Shortkut (classic turntablist stuff). i wanted to see what she was up to these days and found this recent interview on URB magazine. apparently, she hasn't DJ'd in years and she is a single mother to her 4 year old son. i posted up the GAP commercial down below, so enjoy!
