Today is the 40th Anniversary of the First Moon Landing

The Apollo 11 mission in 1969 was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. The mission was carried out by Mission Commander Neil Alden Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin Eugene 'Buzz' Aldrin, Jr. On July 20, 1969, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the Moon, while Collins orbited above and today we celebrate the 40th anniversary of that historic moment.

Anybody care about this?

I heard that NASA is planning on doing a moon colonization by 2020. Let's see if that will actually happen. I still say we should try to land on Mars. That would be so historic.
