The Next Level to Skratch Music = JohnBeez's Mixer Concept

saw this on the Skratchworx site. big ups to JohnBeez for this DJ innovation. he's using the Vestax Controller One turntable which the pitch/tempo of the platter can be controlled with a Midi controller. he configured his the crossfader on his Vestax 06 mixer to glide on a fretless system that probably controls the pitch bend MIDI parameters of the turntable. so what you get is melodic scratching = finally making the turntable a real instrument. WOW! makes me want to get a Vestax Controller One and anticipate for one of the big DJ companies to mass produce this idea.
