Happy Thanksgiving from COZUMEL, MEXICO!!!

so far, the cruise has been great. been to belize city, belize which is very 3rd world ishhh, but i heard that it has some of the best diving and snorkeling spots in the world. i might try that out next time i go in 2 weeks. dropped by costa maya, mexico which is a beautiful beach spot. linh will enjoy that when she gets here in 2 weeks. today i'm at an internet cafe in cozumel, mexico. wanted to go snorkeling today, but woke up too late and i have a gig around 4pm so i'll just hang out at senor frogs and get a lil drunk, hahaha. so far, the cruise has been pretty mellow. this hasn't been a party cruise like the last one i was on. lots of kids though, but that's probably due to thanksgiving so there's lots of family on board. we'll probably get more of a young adult crowd in the next few weeks. tonight is the twenty party which is the featured party of the cruise. can't wait to rock that.

btw, i noticed i've been getting on a lot of people's blogs lately. don't know what's the deal with the sudden surge of attention from the blogs, but its all good to me. here are links from the ones i've seen. if you see me on somebody's blog, please let me know and send me the link.

I'm finally on board the independence of the seas

After a stressful night of packing everything I needed for the trip and doing last minute things around the house, it all went smoothly from there. Flight was on time. Got my bags early. It was a short trip from the airport to the boat. No problems with getting on board and my cabin was actually all clean and ready when I got there. This cabin has more room than the last one and I got a window! I got my schedule and its lighter than the last cruise. Anyways, about to get ready for the sailaway party. Looks like today was a good day.

DJ Geometrix is going to be out at sea between November 23rd until December 21st 2008 as Royal Caribbean's celebrity guest DJ on their Independence of the Seas cruise ship, courtesy of Scratch Academy NYC. He will be DJing at various nightclubs and parties inside the ship while it sails throughout the Caribbean 7 days a week for a whole month. With the election happening tomorrow, I was sent this little gem on Sarah Palin getting…well pretty much punked by a couple of fellow French Canadians.

She actually thinks the call is coming from French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The PR manager really botched this one up badly without confirming or checking the call first. In this prank call they tell Palin that she would make a good president, to which she replied "maybe in 8 years". The pranksters even mentioned the porno "Nailin Pailin" and I'm not sure if she didn't understand or just didn't hear. A great reason as to why this woman should not be in office, cus let's face it McCain ain't gonna make it past 2 years if he becomes president.
