You've Never Listened To Most of the Music You've Downloaded

hahahaha, this is so true. i hate it when DJs brag about having over 25,000 songs in their laptop, when u really need only about 200-300 songs to play at a gig. who really has listened to all the music they download? i only have about a lil over 10,000 songs in my laptop and i probably only use 5% of it at my gigs and maybe have enjoyed listening to about 10-15% of it. its crazy how the whole blog house movement has over saturated the remix market with 99% of shit you won't even use at a gig. hmmmm, has anyone heard the new justice remix? hahahaha, awesome.

Russell Peters on Def Comedy Jam

SUPER HILARIOUS! glad to see him getting more exposure 'cause he's one of my favorite comedians that nobody knows about.

SALESGENIE.COM is RACIST towards ASIANS with their COMMERCIAL that aired during the SUPER BOWL

my wife and i had a WTF face after we saw this commercial during the Super Bowl. seriously, this is in very very poor taste and we were really offended by it.

Check out this video: Sales Genie Super Bowl Commercial

Guess what I got in the mail today

I've been looking for a small sampler to use during my dj gigs for playback of name drops and sound effects while I'm mixing. I remember owning a roland ms-1 sampler back in 96-97 and used to love using it for my mixtapes back in the day. I also learned how to make beats using this classic sampler. I remember when venemans in rockville, md had a small fire and damaged a bunch of their inventory. They had a fire sale that same week and I bought the sampler for $100 (it used to retail for $400-500). I sold that thing back in 98 with a bunch of other equipment to get an akai mpc2000. Ten years later, I came across one on ebay and I knew I just had to buy another one. Can't wait to start using it.
