Cleaning out my camera phone part 2

These pics were taken back in may when brent and carlos were in town. Mark and brent crashing on the couch after a crazy night. Basically, me, brent, mark, and carlos got drunk at bridges, went back to my crib to smoke some herb, and went to sleep around 8 in the morning. Was supposed to play golf with bryan around 10 but never got around to it. Bryan actually came over and drove carlos to the airport. Bryan was not happy and I still owe him a round of golf.

These pics were taken earlier this year during chinese new year. Linh and I went down to richmond to hang out with her family. My very first time at buddhist temple. I got a lucky dollar, some lucky tangerine, got to light up some incense, and ate some delicious cantonese food. I was thinking of proposing to linh in front of her whole family that day but couldn't find the right moment. This was a few days before I actually proposed.

I need to start updating my blog more often

I think its time for me to get a new phone. This cingular ipaq is not working for me anymore. Looking to get a blackberry curve soon. Hopefully this will get me back in the blogging. Aim and possibly podcast game. Well, not podcast....who knows

I HAVE SOME GREAT NEWS!!!

I finally did it. I proposed to Linh about 2 weeks ago (Feb 19th) and she said yes. I bought the ring in January and wanted to wait for the right time to pop the question. Initially, I wanted to propose on Valentines Day but she had to go to Cali for business. Then I wanted to do it in front of her family during Chinese New Year that weekend, but I never got the chance to do so. Anyways, talks about a ring popped up that night 'cause we kept seeing diamond references on commercials and shows while we were watching TV. I started asking her what kind of engagement ring she wanted. As a joke, I showed her pictures of rings online that I knew she wouldn't really like, but I already knew what she wanted. Then I basically picked out the ring from my pocket and suggested maybe that the ring I was holding is what she had in mind. She was totally surprised. I basically got down on one knee, did the whole lovey dovey speech thing, and asked her to marry me. She said yes of course. I was gonna plan out something elaborate before, but a lot of the things I was coming up with seemed too cliche and I would rather do it spontaneously. That night felt so right..the best moment just popped up and I went for it. Anyways, we are finalizing on a reception site so it looks like the wedding is gonna happen this year on Oct 20th, on our anniversary. We'll keep everyone posted.

July house updates

We painted the dining room and kitchen a sage green. The living room is
bamboo yellow. Painted my office a toffee brown color. Both living
room and dining room have window treatments (curtains, rods, etc.).
Hopefully we can finish decorating the office, living room, and dining
room by august. Also get a breakfast table set and get started on
painting the master bedroom and downstairs bath.

This sucks

I just got a letter from dc cops. They caught me speeding and got a
photograph too. This was probably after I did love back in may and
didn't realize they added a camera at the 395 tunnel. Haven't been that
way in a while. Oh well, $50 down the drain.

Hahahaha, finally got the shelves up for my shoes in the garage. I
would have filled up that top shelf if I didn't sell some of my shoes
before the move. There's a few more shoes I have my eyes set on getting
in the next few months so I wouldn't have a problem filling that top
shelf up in no time. These are all my sneakers and I still have a dozen
casual/dress shoes in the closet up in the master bedroom. Geez, talk
about addict
