The Next Level to Skratch Music = JohnBeez's Mixer Concept
saw this on the Skratchworx site. big ups to JohnBeez for this DJ innovation. he's using the Vestax Controller One turntable which the pitch/tempo of the platter can be controlled with a Midi controller. he configured his the crossfader on his Vestax 06 mixer to glide on a fretless system that probably controls the pitch bend MIDI parameters of the turntable. so what you get is melodic scratching = finally making the turntable a real instrument. WOW! makes me want to get a Vestax Controller One and anticipate for one of the big DJ companies to mass produce this idea.

There's a JOLLIBEE in New York City
Wow, i need to make a trip to New York City soon. They opened up a Jollibee in NYC. Jollibee is the McDonalds of the Philippines. Fast food joint with Filipino food. Can't wait to eat some sweet spaghetti, pancit palabok, breakfast items like tocino, tapa & longanisa, and the desserts are to die for. Haven't eaten Jollibee since going to the Philippines about 10 years ago (Damn, i'm overdue to visit the Philippines). Anyways, its located at 62-29 Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, Queens, NY. Who wants to take a trip with me?

I LOVE GOOGLE EVEN MORE - introducing Google Power Meter
Google will announce a free web service tomorrow called PowerMeter that'll let users track energy consumption in their homes or business, provided there's a means to upload the data. WOW, can't wait to start saving money on my electricity bill. i'm loving Google so much these past week. GOOGLE CHROME IS THE ISHHH!!!
